We do weekly updates because just like your phone has software updates, WordPress, your websites theme, and plugins need to be updated too. Outdated plugins are the #1 leading cause of website hacks.
Monitoring, Security & Spam Protection
We use special tools that do regular security scans, monitor your sites traffic and activity, and protect against potential hacks or breaches to keep your site safe.
Website Backups
Consistent, full website backups are critical for many reasons but most importantly to keep your site data secure and quickly restorable.

FAQ's
Some answers to the most frequently asked questions about our website care plan.
Are there cancellation fees?
Nope! Our website care plan is monthly or annual with a no-risk, no questions asked guarantee. If for any reason you need to pull your website from our hosting or maintenance plan, you have complete freedom to do so. Your plan is simply billed out for the month or year that you paid for.
Are there any setup fees?
If we’re building your website, there is no set up fee as long as it’s within a 90 day period of the build.
If, after 90 days, you’d like to join our care & support plan at any level, there is a $99 set up fee because we need to update & install tools, clean up the database, and backup the site among other tasks.
If we’re onboarding a website we did not design, there is a $250 setup fee as we need to do a lot of work up front to update the site, learn the tools and get it ready to be properly maintained.
What if I pass on the plan?
Our maintenance plan is not mandatory for clients but is highly recommended because of the importance of security, optimization, updates, backups, support, etc.
That said, if you choose to forego our care plan, you’e welcome to. You will, in that case, assume complete responsibility for the website updates, security, backups and other services laid out in this plan by reviewing our LIABILITY CLAUSE that releases us from any involvement if and when the website is breached, hacked or performs slowly because the lack of proper optimization.
Can I join the plan if I originally pass?
Absolutely! If you decide to come back to us after having initially passed on the plan due to the work that’s involved in order to properly maintain the site, we’ll welcome you to the plan with open arms and make sure your site is protected and cared for. See the setup fees question above for additional information about onboarding a site after 90 days.
Does my monthly support time roll-over?
No, the monthly support fee is required to guarantee our availability for your tasks every month. We’ll collaborate with you to make the most of your time but if you find that you’re not utilizing your monthly support time, we’re flexible and can adjust to a lower plan at any point!
Requests will be batched and completed 1-day/week
What if I require more hours than my plan allows for from time to time?
I am happy to assist you! Work requested over and above your website care plan will be done at my reduced flexible hourly rate(s) which is reduced for you as a special, monthly care client! After understanding our needs we’ll give you an estimate of time and will always make every effort to get your work done as quickly as we can to save you some extra cost.
If the work you require is more involved, it may requrie a project quote separate from your current maintenance package. Pricing will depend on your specific requirements.
If additional support is needed on a regular basis we we can discuss your requirements and come up with a plan that suits you and your business!
What's included in the monthly time?
Your monthly time (for premium or advanced plans) covers any updates, additions or add-ons to your website. For example, changing hours, company information, staff or team members, adding new photos, updating services pages, etc.
While we do our best to get updates done within your allotted time, if more time is required, we can do so with our hourly retainer which for you is discounted!
Note: The allotted monthly time is for work or updates on the existing website and cannot be used for other projects or a step by step website revamp. We’re happy to do those things either via our discounted hourly rate or via a discounted and separate fixed project!
What if I only require occasional hours for content updates?
For clients on one of my Website Care Plans that require one-off content updates, I offer reduced flexible hourly support so they still have access to one-on-one attention and design solutions when needed
The price for these requests depends on the urgency with which the updates are required. If they aren’t urgent, I will batch the one-off requests and take care of them when I have time in my schedule.
If requests become too frequent, a monthly, recurring website care package will need to be created.
What if my website has significant technical issues or is hacked?
The main purpose of my maintenance programs is preventative; to minimize the chances of these issues occurring. Having said that, I cannot promise your website will never be hacked or won’t ever experience technical issues at some point. WordPress and its plugins require continual updates that can sometimes cause conflicts with each other.
In the unlikely event that a website is breached or hacked while on our plan, what I can promise is that I will do everything I can to prevent it. And if something should happen, being part of my program means I will be ready to repair your site or restore it from a backup if necessary. You will not need to do a thing.
Although repairs should typically fall within my smallest package 1 hour minimum of time allotted for support, if significant error resolution or technical support is required beyond your package, additional fees may be charged.
Do you offer price breaks for multiple sites?
Absolutely! If you choose to have us host and care for additional sites under your account, you’ll get a 25% discount (monthly or annual) for every site you add which will be active for as long as we continue to host and maintain all of the sites.
None of your support packages fit my needs. Can you customize a package just for me?
