Lead Magnet & Complete Website Design for an Online Event manager
Yvonne Basten is the competent, composed, and charismatic founder of Event Management Guru. Her background in supporting organizations and volunteering to run their events lead to a role as the Managing Director for the local chapter of eWomenNetwork, a community of accomplished heart-centered entrepreneurs, trainers, and speakers.
With an active role in connecting businesswomen, watching their confidence soar as they joyously embraced their own authentic magnificence, Yvonne is passionate about supporting the brilliant thought leaders out there making that impactful difference by creating large-scale, life-changing events while boosting their high-ticket sales.
Project Intentions
Website design + effective lead magnet with streamlined client journey to webinar landing page
Yvonne was the former Managing Director for the local chapter of eWomenNetwork and had been managing events for some time but decided that she needed to up level and legitimize her business with a website.
Yvonne had a lead magnet that she needed designed and integrated into her website as well as a free webinar that she ran with frequency that she wanted a landing page for. She previously had a logo designed that she wanted me to utilize. I incorporated the feel of her logo to create the general vibe for her website.
Color Palette
Yvonne’s favorite color is purple and it was her only request for my design aesthetic. I led her through my design process and had her select some images that appeal to her in a Pinterest Collage. Starting with the purple used in her logo, I selected a much deeper and lighter shade of purple to compliment, and accented it with two shades of teal.

Responsive Website Redesign
Yvonne wanted an online presence that she could be proud to direct potential clients to. In all of the content she provided before our project began, her vibe was minimalistic, clean and bright, with lots of purple! My design coupled with the content provided by my close friend and copywriter extraordinaire, I was able to provide her with a design that displayed her services and suited her sunny and cheerful personality nicely.
